Cambridge English Assessment
BioMedical Admissions Test (BMAT): The BioMedical Admissions Test is a subject-specific admissions test for applicants to medicine, veterinary medicine and similar courses at universities.
Classics Admissions Test (CAT): The CAT is a subject-specific admissions test for applicants to all University of Oxford Classics and joint schools undergraduate degree courses. The CAT is a paper-based test. The test is divided into three papers: the Latin Translation Test, the Greek Translation Test and the Classics Language Aptitude Test (CLAT).
English Literature Admissions Test (ELAT): The English Literature Admissions Test (ELAT) is a pre-interview admissions test for applicants to English undergraduate courses at the University of Oxford. It is one of the elements admissions tutors use to decide whether to invite a candidate for interview.
History Aptitude Test (HAT): The HAT is a paper-based test. It is a 2-hour, subject-specific admissions test for applicants to the University of Oxford’s undergraduate degree courses in History and its going schools. This test, which aims to examine the skills and potentialities required for the study of History and university, gives an objective basis for comparing candidates from different backgrounds, including mature applicants and those from different countries.
Mathematics Admissions Test (MAT): The MAT is a paper-based test. it is a 2-hour 30-minute, subject-specific admissions test for applicants to the University of Oxford’s undergraduate degree courses in Mathematics, Computer Science and their joint degrees.
Modern Languages Admissions Tests (MLAT): The tests are for applicants to certain undergraduate degrees in Modern Languages, Linguistics and their joint schools at the University of Oxford.
Oriental Languages Aptitude Test (OLAT): The OLAT is a 30-minute paper-based admissions test for applicants to certain undergraduate degrees in Oriental Studies and it’s joint schools at the University of Oxford.
Physics Aptitude Test (PAT): The Physics Aptitude Test (PAT) is a 2-hour paper-based and subject-specific admissions test for applicants to all University of Oxford Engineering, Materials Science and Physics undergraduate degree courses.
Thinking Skills Assessment (TSA) Oxford: The Thinking Skills Assessment Oxford is a 2-hour pre-interview test for applicants to undergraduate courses at the University of Oxford. it is designed to help tutors assess whether candidates have the skills and aptitudes needed to study the following courses: Economics and Management, Experimental Psychology, Geography, Philosophy and Linguistics, Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE), Psychology and Linguistics and Psychology and Philosophy.
