About Us

BritEd Costa Rica is a company that specialises in offering International Certifications in Costa Rica. Within the Certifications offered, BritEd offers the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) and all levels of Cambridge English Language Assessment Examinations.

As part of the University of Cambridge Examinations, we offer the following modules: YLE Starters, YLE Movers, YLE Flyers, KET, KET for Schools, PET, PET for Schools, FCE y FCE for Schools

Also a part of our International Examinations we offer business and higher level options such as occupational English testing as well as others such as First FCE, Advanced CAE, Proficiency CPE, Business Vantage BEC, Business Higher BEC Higher, Legal ILEC, Financial ICFE and the International English Language Testing System IELTS.

BritEd Costa Rica also invigilate exams for the University of London, Hariot Watt University and other very well recognized institutions.

What We Do

We run a range of International Examinations throughout the year. Among these we have examinations for children, teenagers, university students and professionals in different areas.

A. All our exams are aligned with the levels described by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). We also offer the Occupational English Test (OET) designed to meet the specific needs of the healthcare sector.

B. IELTS, recognised by over 6,000 organisations in 135 countries and in more than 3,000 higher educational institutions in the United States, is run once a month.

C. We are an authorised centre for Cambridge Michigan (CaMLA) exams. These certifications demonstrate the candidate’s level of proficiency in English ranging from CRFR A2 to C1.
